I reached out to Akash at RNT Fitness and over the course of the next few months I couldn’t believe how quickly I transformed my body. The journey wasn’t easy, and it required a radical shift in both my lifestyle and mindset to make sure my physique was getting the attention it deserved. Anyone who runs their own business will know the constant demands placed upon them that can make training and nutrition the bottom of the priority list. But if you plan accordingly, and make it a priority, the results you can achieve will blow your mind.

The biggest roadblock for me was time, so I began to batch-cook my meals well in advance and time-blocked my training sessions into my diary at the start of the week.

What worked best for me was picking two days per week to cook all my meals for the rest of the week, and then just warm them up on the day at the office. I also drastically limited the choices I needed to make with my food. Meaning, instead of trying to make it as varied as possible, I kept it boring and repetitive, which meant I could go on ‘autopilot’ and not have to think too much about what I’ll be eating.

I did the same with my training too, and made sure no meetings were ever booked at midday, as this was ‘my time’ to train for an hour and switch off from the world. 

Besides the obvious physical benefits from my fitness journey, the psychological benefits are highly underrated. The impact on my business was noticeable; I was more productive, creative and my decision-making ability improved. That’s why long after my transformation, I’ve now made physical training a daily habit. The effects on all aspects of my life are too powerful to ignore, and I know if I want to be on top of my game, I need to be in shape.
